Van der Steur's Radical SR9 with a 2.0 liter turbocharged AER I-4. They raced their new SR9 in two races in 2006. Adam Pecorari and Gunnar van der Steur will be the drivers. A testing accident earlier this year prevented them from racing in the Twelve Hours of Sebring and other races.
Ben Devlin led the P2 class in his # 19 Radical SR9 AER in the four hour race at Laguna Seca on October 21, 2006 for 18 mintues. He held off Romain Dumas in his factory-supported # 7 Porsche RS Spyder for around five minutes.

The ACO, the Le Mans rule makers, say that the LMP2 class is designed for privateers, not factory teams as is the case this year with Penske's Porsche RS Spyders. Acura/Honda intend to move to the P1 class by 2009/2010 while Mazda will be selling Lola/Mazda packages to teams for 2008.
