How NOT to Calculate Fuel Economy
Even a writer working for a respected publication like The Economist can sometimes get a little sloppy in figuring fuel economy. Michael Karesh of TrueDelta says the mpg comparison of a used Honda Civic and a new Toyota Prius was not done with a lot of rigor and discipline, to put it mildly.
